This beautifully carved blackbird is a smaller version of Peter's blackbirds and is perched on an Uncle Sam hat singing with pride for the red, white and blue! Hand carved from American chestnut with great detail. There are a few worm holes visible in this carving to which Peter always says it adds to the character of American chestnut wood! Blackbird's feet are made from copper by the artist.
