This primitive blackbird is standing tall and carries an American flag in its beak. The blackbird is mounted on an ear of corn and riding on a cart with large rusty wheels. Hand carved from American chestnut there is lots of detail. The blackbird's long legs and feet, American flag and wheels are made from copper by the artist. Attached to the cart is a distressed leather pull. Just a great folk art piece!
